Abstract
The current study presents survey findings on experiences of sexual harassment (SH) among individuals working in the wider UK music industry. Data from 467 respondents showedthat 95.5% of women and 70% of men reported SH. Gender was the most significant determinant of sexual harassment, with women reporting more instances of SH than men. The most significant effects wereseen in relation to sexist and sexual remarks, sexual staring, and unwanted sexual attention from a colleague.Levels of SH experienced by participants with a disability were consistent with those experienced by the overall population (83%) and showed a similar gender effect.
